Elementary Student Tests COVID Positive

IHC is not permitted to release any additional information. We appreciate your continued support and understanding.

Immaculate Heart Central received confirmation today, November 13, 2020, that one of our elementary students has tested positive for COVID-19. Immaculate Heart Central is working in collaboration with Jefferson County Public Health, which is currently performing contact tracing pursuant to their protocols. Contact tracing identifies anyone who comes into close contact with someone who has COVID-19. The contact tracing procedure slows the spread of COVID-19 and helps protect you, your family, and our community. If you are contacted by Jefferson County Public Health, please follow their recommendations.

The school reopening plan was developed to address potential positive cases. IHC continues to follow the policies and protocols to ensure the health and safety of the students and employees. Social distancing protocols and disinfecting measures continue to be in place. While the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff are a priority, we are required to protect the privacy rights of our staff and students. IHC is not permitted to release any additional information. We appreciate your continued support and understanding.

Yours in Christ,

Daniel Charlebois, Principal
