IHC Return to Interscholastic Play

As you know, we have been given the go ahead to start winter sports. Practices begin next Monday,

February 8th for Varsity boys basketball, Varsity girls basketball, and JV girls basketball. There will be no modified season this year. Even though Jefferson County has cleared us to start practicing, the county has not yet cleared us to play games. Our County’s rolling average infection rate must be below 4% in order for us to play games. We don’t anticipate that happening for several weeks, but we will keep you aware of when we can start games. As of right now, our winter season lasts until March 14th . As with everything involving COVID, things are subject to change. We will be following County and State guidelines when conducting practices and eventually contests.

The Frontier League and County have decided that there will be no spectators at any winter contests. We are doing all we can to install a new camera system that will allow us to stream games in our gym. You will get more information on that system after we get it installed.
