VARSITY BOYS SOCCER
Team Coach
Hello, my name is Jacob Bombard and I am excited to coach the IHC boys soccer team. IHC has meant so much to me as I have been around the school since I was very young. I have seen what excellent teams this school can produce no matter what class we are in and I hope to continue on the legacy of the great coaches here.
I played soccer at IHC for 4 years. I was a Frontier League All-Star 3 out of the 4 years I played as well as All North those three years. On those teams we won the Frontier League 3 times. I was lucky enough to play on some excellent teams. While playing for the school I not only improved my soccer skills but learned some valued lessons like hard work, sportsmanship, and teamwork all values that I hope to instill in my team. It meant so much to me to play for IHC.
After IHC I played for a semi-pro team in the UPSL. I graduated from SUNY Oswego. I was on the President’s List all 4 years of college while studying adolescent education with a concentration in social studies with the hope of teaching. I have always wanted to be a coach and it is a dream to coach at IHC.
As a coach I hope to not only enhance their skills in soccer but more importantly to teach them values and lessons that they can take with them for the rest of their lives. I am excited to coach this team and I look forward to each upcoming season.
