Coach of Varsity Girls Lacrosse

Hello IHC Family!! I am happy to announce that I am going to be coaching the IHC Girls Varsity Lacrosse team for a second year! Lacrosse has been a passion of mine since I was in second grade. I then continued to play at the high school level for Watertown High School. Winning two sectional titles in my four years as a starting goalie. As a two year captain, we also won frontier league champions 3 times, and I was named second team all star for frontier league for two years. During my summers and off seasons, it was filled with several club team events and practices including teams of Star Riders, Different Road Patriots, and Outlaws. I also helped coach IHC ⅚ girls, along with privately training multiple girls in the area. At the college level, I played for Lock Haven University. A division II school located in Pennsylvania. I was a 5-year starter at Lock Haven University, and a 4 year captain. I was named IWCLA All Atlantic region first team, and all PSAC West First team all star. I earned PSAC defensive player of the week 4 times in my career. I was the most valuable player my last two seasons at Lock Haven. Finishing my career at Lock Haven, I hold the all time save record with 607 saves. I also own the single season save record with 209. In my final year at Lock Haven, I was awarded the prestigious Charlotte E. Smith award given to the universities best female athlete for the entire year. This was all accomplished while studying for my undergraduate degree- BS in Early Childhood and Special Education with a minor in Psychology. I earned scholar athlete awards for four years while studying at Lock Haven. I am currently a first grade teacher at Knickerbocker Elementary. I am so beyond excited to continue coaching the girls this year! Seeing the excitement and courage in the girls play last year makes me so hopeful for this upcoming season.
