Jr/Sr Supply List

Junior High Supplies List (Updated August 2018)

A small backpack to carry items to and from school. Large backpacks will make it difficult for your child to fit into their locker, and they will not be allowed to have them or leave them in a classroom.

Colors are recommended to assist with organizational skills and class preparedness, however they are not required.

Purchasing a box of tissues for the homeroom would be greatly appreciated by all of the Junior High Teachers.

Math: Scientific calculator, pencils (pens will not be allowed for homework or in class exams), and a blue notebook, and a blue plastic folder

7-9 Grade Religion: textbook will be purchased the first week of school. (Cost TBD)

Science: 3-subject orange notebook and an orange plastic folder

English: 5-subject green notebook with folders in the dividers and red pens

ELA 7:

  • 1 notebook (at least 3 subjects)
  • 1 folder
  • Loose leaf paper
  • Highlighters
  • Pen or pencil
  • Sticky notes (if you intend to borrow your books)
  • The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien (needed by the end of week 2; no ebooks)
  • The City of Ember by Jeanne Duprau (can be purchased later this year; no ebooks)

ELA 8:

  • 1 notebook (at least 3 subjects)
  • 1 folder
  • Loose leaf paper
  • Highlighters
  • Pen or pencil
  • Sticky notes
  • A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare (can be purchased later; no ebooks)

All Junior High students will need the following to set up their Personal Binder:
their student planner (one is provided by the school), 3 ring binder with pockets (students choice), 1-2 pocket folders to fit in 3-ring binder, pencil case to fit in binder, an accordion file with tabs (plastic will last longer).
